1. ABOUT TANCTRL

TANCTRL (Pty) Ltd (“TANCTRL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the TANCTRL website, online booking platform and private UV tanning studios. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, booking services and studios. By making a booking, accessing a TANCTRL studio or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. BOOKINGS

All tanning sessions must be booked through the TANCTRL online booking system. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during booking is complete and accurate.Bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the booking process has been successfully completed and confirmation has been issued.Bookings are personal to the customer and may not be transferred or shared with another person without prior approval from TANCTRL.

3. PAYMENT

Payment for tanning sessions must be made through the payment methods made available during the online booking process.Where payment is required in advance, a booking will not be regarded as confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.Prices displayed on the TANCTRL website are quoted in South African Rand and may be changed from time to time. Any applicable taxes will be included or disclosed as required.

4. AGE, HEALTH SCREENING & ELIGIBILITY

Customers must satisfy TANCTRL's minimum age requirements and complete any required health screening, suitability assessment, consent or acknowledgement process before using UV tanning equipment.Customers are responsible for providing truthful and complete information during the screening process and for informing TANCTRL of any circumstances that may affect their suitability for UV tanning.TANCTRL may refuse or restrict access to a tanning session where required screening has not been completed or where use of the equipment may be inappropriate or contrary to applicable safety requirements.

5. RESPONSIBLE UV USE

UV tanning involves exposure to ultraviolet radiation and carries health risks. Customers must read and follow all safety information, exposure guidance, warnings and studio instructions provided by TANCTRL.Customers must not exceed the recommended exposure time applicable to their session and must use any required protective equipment, including suitable eye protection.Customers should not use UV tanning equipment where they have been advised not to do so by an appropriate healthcare professional or where a medical condition, medication or other circumstance may make UV exposure unsuitable.TANCTRL's screening and safety information is provided to support responsible use of the facilities and does not constitute medical advice.

6. STUDIO ACCESS

TANCTRL studios operate as private, automated facilities and may not have staff physically present during a customer's session.Where applicable, customers will receive a temporary access code or other access credential associated with their booking.Access credentials are intended solely for the customer to whom the booking relates and must not be shared with another person.Customers may only access the studio during their authorised booking period and must not permit unauthorised persons to enter the premises.

7. USE OF THE STUDIO

Customers must use TANCTRL facilities and equipment responsibly and in accordance with all displayed instructions.Customers must not tamper with, modify, damage or misuse tanning equipment, access-control systems, safety devices or other studio property.Any fault, damage or safety concern should be reported to TANCTRL as soon as reasonably possible.TANCTRL reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where a customer acts unsafely, damages property, allows unauthorised access or materially breaches these Terms and Conditions.

8. SESSION TIMES & LATE ARRIVAL

Customers are responsible for arriving within their allocated booking period.Late arrival does not automatically extend a booking or tanning session where doing so would interfere with subsequent bookings or applicable exposure controls.Customers must leave the studio by the end of their allocated booking period unless otherwise authorised by TANCTRL.

9. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled in accordance with TANCTRL's Cancellation & Refund Policy.Applicable cancellation periods, refund eligibility and rescheduling conditions will be communicated through the website or booking system.Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights a customer may have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

10. EQUIPMENT OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION

TANCTRL may cancel, reschedule or temporarily suspend a booking where equipment is unavailable, maintenance is required, a safety issue arises, power or connectivity is unavailable, or circumstances outside TANCTRL's reasonable control prevent the session from taking place.Where TANCTRL cannot reasonably provide a paid session, the customer may be offered a rescheduled session, account credit or refund as appropriate and subject to applicable law.

11. CUSTOMER PROPERTY

Customers are responsible for their personal belongings while using TANCTRL premises.Customers should ensure that all personal items are removed when leaving the studio. Lost property may be retained for a reasonable period but TANCTRL cannot guarantee recovery of items left behind.

12. DAMAGE & MISUSE

Customers may be held responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for loss or damage caused by their intentional misconduct, negligence, unauthorised use or deliberate misuse of TANCTRL property or equipment.Any charge for damage will be based on the circumstances and reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability or customer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.To the extent permitted by law, TANCTRL will not be responsible for loss or damage resulting from a customer's failure to follow safety instructions, misuse of equipment, provision of inaccurate screening information, unauthorised use of the studio, or use of UV tanning equipment contrary to warnings or professional advice.

14. PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION

TANCTRL may collect and process personal information required to manage bookings, payments, customer communication, studio access, safety screening and operation of its services.Personal information will be handled in accordance with TANCTRL's Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection requirements.Where third-party service providers are used for functions such as payment processing, communications, booking management or access control, information may be processed by those providers where reasonably necessary to provide the service.

15. WEBSITE & ONLINE SERVICES

Customers may not misuse the TANCTRL website, attempt to interfere with its operation, gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts, or use the website for unlawful purposes.TANCTRL may update, modify or temporarily suspend portions of its website or online services where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or operational purposes.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The TANCTRL name, branding, logos, website content, graphics and other proprietary material belong to TANCTRL (Pty) Ltd or its applicable licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission, except where permitted by law.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

TANCTRL may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to its services, operating procedures or legal requirements.The current version will be published on the TANCTRL website together with its effective or last-updated date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued under applicable law.

18. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.Any dispute arising from the use of TANCTRL's services will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and any rights or dispute-resolution mechanisms available to consumers under that law.
